Gypsy and traveller liaison service

The Gypsy/Traveller Liaison provide the following services:

• Manage the local authority's registered caravan park. This is a registered site where Gypsies/Travellers can reside on a permanent basis on a licence agreement. 
• Deal with and/or give advice regarding trespass onto land by Gypsies/Travellers within the metropolitan borough area, in accordance with present legislation. 
• We may deal with trespass on non-council owned land subject to terms and conditions. For fees and/or advice regarding this service then contact must be made with the Gypsy Liaison Officers directly. 
• Arrange or liaise with owners of land for clean up of land after an illegal trespass has been removed 

The Gypsy/Traveller Liaison service do not deal with fairgrounds, circuses and show people.
